It is pleased to announce that 2027 The 9th International Conference on Clean Energy and Electrical Systems will be held in Osaka, Japan on April 28-30, 2027.  CEES covers a broad range of clean energy and electrical systems topics, and it will continue the tradition of the past editions organized in Vancouver, Nanjing, Tokyo, Kyoto, Sendai and Osaka. Clean energy, or green energy, refers to energy that does not emit pollutants and can be directly used in production and life. It includes nuclear energy and "renewable energy." With the continuous growth of energy demand and the increasing awareness of environmental protection in countries around the world, it is urgent and imperative to establish a clean energy innovation research and development, promotion and application system. Electricity will play a huge role in the development of clean energy. The future development trend of energy must be towards the direction of clean energy, and the ecological and economic benefits it brings will be immeasurable.

In the face of global challenges posed by climate change and the increasing demand for energy, the pursuit of sustainable and clean energy solutions has become more critical than ever. CEES 2027 is built around its annual theme — "Powering Carbon-Neutral Societies: Integrated Clean Energy and Electrical Systems" — to explore and promote cutting-edge research, transformative technologies, and forward-thinking policies that accelerate the transition toward cleaner, smarter, and more resilient energy systems. The aim of CEES 2027 is to bridge and connect across disciplines, practices, places, and understandings — the most interesting advances happen at the edges and boundaries between them. The conference brings together original research in its three core areas (Power Systems, Energy Technologies, and Energy Management; see Conference Scope), and features invited keynote speeches as well as peer-reviewed paper presentations. CEES 2027 is completely open; you only need to register first — you do not have to be an author or a discussant to attend.
