CEES 2019 | July 27-29, 2019 | Nanjing, China

CEES 2019 was organized by Nanjing Institute of Technology, China. It was held alongside with Jiangsu Science and Technology Forum (The 3rd Sub-forum on Intelligent Manufacturing) on June 27-29, 2019 in Nanjing Institute of Technology. Around 200 delegates from United States, Canada, Singapore, Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, and China attended the conference.

The proceedings of published by IOP Conference Series: Journal of Physics, eISSN: 1742-6596, Volume 1311 (2019). (Click). And it has been indexed by EI and Scopus already!

In June 28 morning, part of the delegates visited Kangni Technology Industry Co., LTD, which is an innovation-oriented enterprise specialized in research and application of mechanical and electrical technologies. In the afternoon, the conference general chair, president of Nanjing Institute of Technology, Prof. Shi Jinfei opened the conference, and then Mr. Xia Hanguan, director of Jiangsu Mechanical Engineering Society and Mr. Feng Shaodong, Vice President of Jiangsu Science and Technology Association delivered opening remarks.
After the opening, Prof. Shi Jianjun from Georgia Tech, USA shared a speech on Machine Learning Enabled Quality Improvement in Samrt Manufacturing Systems; Prof. Ma Yongsheng from University of Alberta, Canada talked about Feature-based cyber-physics modeling in complex energy production systems; and Prof. Qiu Songgang from West Virginia University, USA gave a speech on Study of Oscillating Flow in an Engine Regenerator. Through the keynote speeches, the speakers introduced the development of intelligent manufacturing and cutting-edge science and technology in the world, demonstrated the focus technology and the latest research results in the field of electromechanical, and made recommendations on the way forward for smart manufacturing in China. The keynote speeches sparked lot discussions among the delegates.
On June 29, the conference was set up with 6 Sessions. Participants made presentations and discussions over 5 topics, ie Electronics Design,  Clean Energy, Energy System, Control System,  Manufacturing Engineering.
